I will never forget that more than than 40 years ago I started out with a Radio Shack receiver and two mismatched, naked full range drivers taken from console stereos and hooked upwardly with lamp cord. So, please, let's non have derisive comments about my showing disdain for budget sound.

I take, over the past 25 years, approaching literally a line item for audio and invested into my organisation annually. If Class D is too make clean there are a few elementary tweaks you might try. Obvious only slow is to just let the dust build up. If the sound is a bit dry and gritty and you would like a smoother softer focus endeavour the Playboy Tweak, a thin coat of vaseline. Very popular all through the 80's.
